EVERYONE IS INVITED TO JOIN IN OUR PARADE!!!
ANY TYPE OF FLOAT IS ENCOURAGED, BUT NOT REQUIRED!
Bring your antique cars, small boats on trailers, bicycles, wagons, stroller, floats of any kind, or just dress up! All you have to do is come down to the start of the parade route, and you can join the parade. This is a fabulous annual event that gets better every year!
10:30AM: LINE UP AT THE CORNER OF TUTHILL RD AND NEW SUFFOLK ROAD
11AM: PARADE STARTS
Parade continues south on New Suffolk Road, then turns left (East) onto Main Street (New Suffolk Ave,) then turns right (South) onto First Street, and ends at New Suffolk Beach.
Once everyone arrives at New Suffolk Beach, there will be the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence and a brief presentation.
(Please remember that our celebration is non political and we request that all decorations focus on celebrating our country.)

NSCA presents a FREE concert featuring The HooDoo Loungers!
This concert is sure to be an evening of fabulous music and dancing!
When: Saturday, August 3rd at 6pm
Where: New Suffolk School Ball Field
This year’s concert will be the HooDoo Loungers. Since 2008 the Hoodoo Loungers have performed their brand of New Orleans infused roots R&B, SOUL and Rock N' Roll up and down the east coast. Voted the BEST BAND IN THE HAMPTONS in 2023 the band performs an uplifting totally danceable blend of FUN music!
Bring a picnic, blanket or chair, and relax for the evening! Be sure to mark it on your calendar.
We encourage you to walk or bicycle if possible.

HELP CLEAN UP OUR COMMUNITY TO CELEBRATE EARTH DAY!

Meet at NS Beach Parking Area
PLEASE BE PROMPT!
In the spirIt of Earth Day, please join us in helping to keep our town clean!
Bring the entire family and enjoy some much awaited Spring air.
We assemble at the beach parking area at 10am, and then split up into groups.
Bags and gloves will be provided, but we suggests you wear work gloves for the event.
Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes. If a volunteer has a pick up truck, please bring it to help haul garbage bags to the dump.
Tolling of the Boats at Submarine Memorial at NS Beach 2024
Submarine Veterans of Long Island Come to New Suffolk
On SUNday, April 7, 2023 at 11:30 am, the Submarine Veterans of Long Island come to New Suffolk for their annual "Tolling of the Boats." Please bring family, neighbors and friends to join us for this very special ceremony! (please be prompt)
The ceremony occurs at the Submarine Memorial at New Suffolk Beach.
This organization commemorates all of the US Navy Submarines lost at sea during the ceremony, as well as recently departed shipmates.
We are also honored, and look forward to having the Submarine veterans at our annual July 4th parade!

NSCA Annual Adopt-a-Family : CAST Fundraiser
Like we did last year, the NSCA is partnering with
CAST
(the Center for Advocacy, Support, and Transformation)
for our Annual Holiday Adopt-A-Family
and we'd love YOUR support!
Since 1965, CAST has been serving low-income individuals and families all across the North Fork. CAST helps struggling community members meet their basic needs in the areas of nutrition, clothing, energy, employment, and education.
CAST is a 501c3 organization and donations are tax deductible.
Three easy ways to donate
1) Make your donation directly to CAST through their website HERE. (If you donate through the site, click "Add Special Instructions to the Seller" and note that you are donating as part of the "NSCA Adopt-a-Family Fundraiser".)
2) Send your check directly to CAST at 53930 Main Road, PO Box 1566, Southold, NY 11971 (write NSCA Adopt-a-Family Fundraiser" in the memo).

Peconic Bay Sailing Association Boat Parade July 4th
Fourth of July Boat Parade: Sponsored by Peconic Bay Sailing Association
Boats will assemble at the Buoy #N4 Northwest of Robins Island no later then 11:45 am on July 4.
Marshals in blue Holby Pilot19 and light blue Hunt, Whim will direct in person and on VHF Channel 72.
Parade will start about Noon
Follow designated lead boat heading North towards New Suffolk, past pier at Waterfront into Cutchogue Harbor
Flags, decorations and costumes encouraged!
